A Letter from Our Head of School
Patriot Family,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at All Saints we hope everyone had a safe and restorative summer break. We are excited to get back to school, and we will welcome our new faculty and staff on Thursday, August 3rd for orientation. The entire staff will be back Monday, August 7th for a week of professional development and preparation for the beginning of school. We are motivated, and we can’t wait to be back teaching our students.
In the coming week you will receive email communication on scheduling your conferences with your child’s teachers on Friday, August 11th or Monday, August 14th. Conferences will be expected for all Patriot Learning Center (PS-PK), Lower School (Kindergarten – 4th grade) and Middle School (5th grade – 8th grade) families and will serve as the primary communication opportunity for teachers, parents, and students at the beginning of school. This in-person communication is vital as we all work together to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding the educational needs for each individual student.
This year we are excited to roll out the All Saints Expo in conjunction with our family conferences. As parents check in at the front office for all PLC and Lower School conferences or the Middle School entrance for Middle School conferences, they will receive a checklist and guide map for the Expo. At the conclusion of your conference with your child’s teachers you will be able to work down your checklist/map to ensure that everything is ready for your child to start school. The goal of the EXPO is to create an opportunity to complete all of the “busy work” associated with the start of school in person and ensure that your child is signed up, outfitted, and prepared for all of their school activities. Our hope is that we can alleviate the many emails and crumpled sign-up/information flyers that come home the first few days of school. It will be great to get everything done in-person at one time. Thanks in advance for your time and effort to conference with your child’s teachers and explore the All Saints Expo.
This was a fun and busy summer at All Saints with so many students back to a full slate of art, academic, and athletic camps, but nothing compares to the actual start of school. The excitement level from the faculty is high, and we will be welcoming approximately 70 new students to All Saints. The Patriot Family is growing and this promises to be another exciting and productive year at All Saints.
Enjoy the last few days of your break, and we will see everyone soon.

BOOSTER CLUB OFFERS NEW SPIRIT SHIRTS
Debbie Maines Fitness and Tumbling
We are so blessed to have Debbie Maines and her Fitness and Tumbling Program here at All Saints. Our students have a blast in her class moving their bodies while learning basic tumbling skills and the importance of overall fitness. Every Spring students are able to show off their skills in our Tumbling Showcase!
In order to protect the number of academic hours in the classroom we have made a few changes to how tumbling will operate this year.
Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade will continue to have Tumbling classes once a week during the school day.
Second, Third, and Fourth Grade will now have their Tumbling classes offered immediately after school (Tuesday or Wednesday). Students will go directly to Kirby Commons after school for tumbling and then be walked to The Circle Drive for pick up or taken to the PLC if participating in “Afternoon Fun”.
Information on times, days, cost and sign ups will be available at Family Conferences on August 11th and 14th. Mrs. Maines will be located in the PLC Hallway.
If you have any questions please reach out to PLC Division Head, Angela Robertson at arobertston@allsaintsschool.org or Lower School Division Head, Rachel Scranton at rscranton@allsaintsschool.org

- STUDENT-ATHLETE REQUIRED FORMS
In 2019 the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) switched to a new online data management platform, Rank One Sport, for all student health and safety, eligibility certification, communications, event registration, and management. All new students must set up their parent portal and complete the online forms. This must be done before your child will be cleared for activities. All returning athletes will need to log in and update their records. (See Coaches Corner for Detailed Instruction)
COACHES CORNER
FALL SCHEDULES
The fall sports schedules for middle and high school athletics are currently being updated. Once complete, you will be able to find them on the school calendar, or you may find a schedule on the school website by clicking the hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner of the page. From there, click “Programs” and then click the “Athletics” tab.
PHYSICAL FORMS AND MEDICAL EXAMS FOR ATHLETICS
All participating students will be required to have a current Medical History form and Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (PPE) on file in the athletic office before they can participate or practice. This requirement will be for all participating students in grades 6-12. All high school forms will be required to be uploaded into RankOne Sports, and all middle school forms can be submitted as a hard copy.
High School Directions:
The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) utilizes an online data management platform, Rank One Sport, for all student health and safety, eligibility certification, communications, event registration, and management. All extra-curricular activities and competitions for academics, fine arts, and athletics are managed through the Rank One Sports platform.
All health and eligibility forms are secured and managed online through a parent portal. Your parent portal will be a one-time setup with one-time yearly maintenance. It will support all of your children and all of their high school TAPPS activities with a single account. If your high school child participated in fall/winter athletics or fall band/drumline at All Saints last year, you have already set up your portal and only need to update it with a medical history and a new pre-participation physical.
For the parents of new high school students and those who did not participate in volleyball, cross country, football, basketball, or fall band/drumline last year, you will need to set up your parent portal and complete the online forms. This must be done before your child will be cleared for activities. The following is a step by step procedure:
Go to www.rankonesport.com in your browser
Click on the “For Parents” tab
Click on “Login”
Click on “Texas”
Click on “All Saints Episcopal School – Lubbock” (There are multiple All Saints Episcopal Schools)
Click on “Proceed to Online Forms”
Click on “Create New Account”
Follow instructions to set up your parent portal. You will need an email and you will be prompted to create a password. Please keep a record of this information for future use.
Once your account is set up you must link it to your child. Enter the name and their All Saints Student ID number. The ID #s were sent to all high school parents from Kyle Simons.
Once your child (children) are linked to your account proceed with accessing the online forms. There will be three sections of forms:
TAPPS Physical/Medical History – Please submit the Medical History, the school will enter the physical once we have the hard copy and the account is set up.
TAPPS Student Profile
TAPPS Signature Page
Fill out the forms with electronic signatures for yourself and your child for the TAPPS Student Profile and TAPPS Signature Page. Make sure to click “submit” on each form. Once those forms are complete they will show on the computer and we can certify eligibility. Again, once eligibility is confirmed it will carry over to all future TAPPS competitions for this academic year.

Maintenance/Facilities Team
Summers at All Saints are always busy, especially for these guys! Brett Longley and his team (Joe Sarratt, Kyle Patterson, and Arnie Villalon) have been working tirelessly to get the buildings ready to go for a new school year. From adding walls to divide classrooms, to adding new air conditioning units, and everything in between, they work hard every day to keep the school up and running. If you see any of them while on campus, be sure to offer up a big thank you for all they do for our school!
One last thing….
Are you a new parent? Do you plan to volunteer at the school or accompany your child’s class on field trip? If you answered YES! to either of those questions, you will need to complete a background check. It’s a simple process through a third party, and we receive the results quickly. Also applicable if you are a current parent who hasn’t completed one in a while. Just follow this link to get that taken care of today!
