Senior Paige Schlehuber was named as the 2021 Woman of Character while senior Ash Bumstead was named the 2021 Man of Character. Seniors receiving this recognition are receiving the highest award at All Saints and they epitomize a character of integrity, maturity, compassion, joy, purposefulness, and commitment. These young leaders represent the All Saints ideal of a love of learning and a love of life. A permanent display in their honor will be placed in the High School Garrison Corridor,

Schlehuber is involved in three varsity sports at All Saints as well as serving as the Vice President of National Honor Society and a Class Representative for Student Council.  She is an AP Scholar and has been named to the Headmaster Honor Roll all four years. Schlehuber was elected by the student body as the 2020 Homecoming Queen.  She has been an active member of YoungLife all four years in high school.  As a four-year starter on the Varsity Volleyball team, Schlehuber has earned numerous city, district, and state awards throughout the years, including the 2020 TAPPS 2A and All City MVP honors. In addition, she was named to the Academic All State Team and All State Tournament Team while receiving All State Honors all four years.  Schlehuber is a member of the State Champion Girls’ Tennis Teams in 2019 and 2021.  Last month she placed third in the TAPPS 2A Women’s Doubles Championship with partner junior GraceAnn Streit.  She has been named to the Academic All State Tennis Team each year and has received All State Honors each year as well. Her hobbies include traveling and wake boarding.  She joined All Saints in 2014 as a sixth grader.  Schlehuber will attend Texas Christian University (TCU) next fall as a Dean’s Scholar and will major in Business and Marketing.  Abby Schlehuber, her sister, is a 2020 All Saints graduate and current Texas Tech University freshman.  Their parents are Carrie and Robert Schlehuber.

Bumstead is a member of the Varsity Basketball, Cross Country, and Track teams and has earned state honors in each sport.  He is a past-president of the Chemistry Club and founding member of the school’s Honor Council and serves as its chairperson.  In addition, he is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and TAPPS Academic Team in which he is a two-time TAPPS 2A State Champion in Mathematics and a 2021 State Champion in Science. Bumstead has also been a member of the High School Band and Mock Trial Team. He is a 2020 National Merit Commended Scholar and has received the prestigious Proven Patriot Award each year of high school along with being named to the Headmaster Honor Roll each year. He is one of the three Class of 2021 Valedictorians with a GPA of 4.862. Bumstead was elected by the student body as the 2020 Homecoming King. He is active in his church youth group at Lakeridge United Methodist Church and traveled with them on a Tanzania Mission Trip in 2014 to work with schools in remote villages. He serves All Saints as a Student Ambassador, which includes live TV interviews and promotional videos for student recruitment as well as personally visiting with prospective students and families. His hobbies include his love of playing the piano and guitar along with hunting and fishing.  Bumstead will attend Baylor University Honors College next fall.  His parents, Krista and Matt Bumstead, enrolled Ash into All Saints as a three-year-old Preschool student.  His brother, Nate, is in the seventh grade at All Saints while his sister, Susannah, is a 2019 All Saints graduate and a sophomore at Baylor.
