Almost 600 entries were made to the 60th Regional South Plains Science & Engineering Fair.  The fair was held at the United Supermarkets Arena last weekend. From 43 Texas counties eligible to compete, 560 students entered, including 307 elementary projects, 184 middle school projects and 69 high school projects.

There were 15 middle school students from All Saints that participated in the competition.    Congratulations to the following students for their hard work and dedication to science.

8th Grade

Brennon Moreno 1st medalist & 2nd Place Energy Award plus $50.00 cash prize

6th Grade

1st place Medalist- Nick Blevins, Portia Clary, Abby Harris & Allison Akin

Allison Akin– received Engineering Innovation Award

2nd Place- Kate White, Scott Sanford & Campbell Howe

5th Grade

1st Place Medalists-Jack Robinson, Caden Mead, Will Akin, Reghan Rose, Calvin Carpenter, Emme Hocker, Jeye Johnson

Calvin Carpenter- Special Award – Excellence in Science plus $25.00 cash prize

Emme Hocker- Overall 1st Place trophy in 5th Grade Physical Science Division (1st out of 48 kids) 

5th Grade Team:  Awarded” 5th Grade Sweepstakes” Winners! (This is the top team score for the 5th grade division!)
